Iyuquu is a Native American word meaning “at any moment”. This is the core idea behind each and every design that we create. The belief is that the outdoors should not be something that has to be earned but rather a resource that can be enjoyed by all. Right here. Right now. Calling the Great Smoky Mountains and its beautiful headwaters home, iyuquu was born from the love of the wilderness and the creatures that inhabit it combined with the artistic passion of ink on paper and paint on canvas.

It all started with a simple idea, “Man, I wish that was on a hat.”

All outdoorsman/women and ESPECIALLY fly fishermen know looking cool is half the battle. When iyuquu’s early designs were being done on canvas, the intent was just that, to be cool paintings and drawings of wild things that were awesome. It wasn’t until a close friend, upon seeing the paintings, made a statement that would forever change the directory of that artwork , “Man… I wish that was on a hat.”

And so the seed was planted and the idea of iyuquu was born. Now, we continue to create art that reflects the identity of those who claim the outdoors as their home. We strive to produce clothing for the wild souls that need that mountain air in their lungs and that flowing water in their veins.
